Hello again.. Are you finding an escape to your delusions or pain or just anything in general? Apparently, I am finding calm in something I did not do much. Since childhood, I was never a fan of cooking food although I loved the dishes maa prepared. There were so less incidents that I can hardly recall any. I started to learn it in bits and knew the basics that can be counted as surviving skills or simply cooking food to not starve myself. And it has peaked since some time. I have started using it as a diversion to the chaos I feel in my head.

And because cooking is a tough job and even the one that requires focus and attention, It helps me relieve a part of stress and shift my mind to something else. It also sometimes works like a medicine that treats me fine for the time being.

Besides being an extra chore for me, it is a help to maa and a shot at my boredom.

Overthinking is bad for health. Not just for me, but everyone. And the best part to put up with it is to be involved in work and tire yourself. Sometimes the environment that starts this vicious round of thoughts is not the place we can put an end to it. Thus, it is good if we can just change some places and try doing something else at the moment.

Our brain is surely a funny place. The random thoughts it gets every minute is around 45. Now that’s huge and calculating it fairly would result in approximately 50–70 thousand thoughts a day. Now, do you want to think about that.?

Well, that’s for you to decide. I cannot. See what you want to do. And as I have learnt to cook over the time, it is a good time to spend with myself. To treat myself when things are well. To eat something delicious when I crave and am unable to reach anything at the moment. It gives an edge to knowledge as well. To know about the nutritional values, choose something good for one’s self and people around, to be aware of the food benefits and catastrophes. It feels good to take care of myself that way and well, it is also a way to bribe people into doing something I like because if they like the food, they will surely help out. Because it is rightly said, the road to a person’s heart goes through the food.
