As we celebrated Basant Panchami today symbolizing the onset of spring, I have enjoyed it thoroughly. With the morning sun a little playful with the clouds and usual trifles of breeze and rain made us feel a little chilled, the spring had already marked its presence and nullified it to a little cozy weather. It’s been a great day for me where I got to spend a good time with my family at a place I love. The calmness in the air and the beauty in its sereneness is something I have always admired. This place is my kind of escape and also a belief system, a shrine I would like to devote myself to and a location I would run back to. This world is known as the Dayalbagh Satsang Hall. And it teaches you all the best things of life in simple terms. The rules may come across as too much but the way these small habits help in the future and shape one to put up a strong hold and generate self-awareness is beyond. It might sound as regulatory or controlling but they have given so much to a person in general that they are ever thankful in their whole life.
We are taught about the importance of everything because nothing is free and absolutely nothing is done as service. Even asking for a cup of tea is not done there. You gotta get up,pay the amount and ask for it. And you won’t be charged one penny more in anything. I had breakfast and went up to clean my plate. All things you need are there, dishwasher, sink, all. And yes there are all people doing it. So you will feel that it should be done. And then talking about discipline, well, everything has an order and they ought to be followed. There are helpers but no service providers. And things are done not for the profits but for engaging time and with the greatest purpose of giving back. The ultimate service of making things available at a worthy rate is their magic. Somehow it is different and it has made me believe that virtues shine and keep one alive well. My family has been a part of this and these rituals are surely different from the rest, but they keep me sane. There are many branches in different parts of the world because one place cannot accommodate all. But the way it has been carried forward with the same intensity is what takes the cake. Rules are blinding and definitely threaten your normal animal inside you, but once you view the reality without any filters, it’s a tranquil you never want to leave. Ra Dha Sva Aa Mi
